We are a group of researchers at Oxford University's Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment working in the field of water supply at the intersection of three areas of scholarship – institutions, development and informatics. We have expertise in mobile technologies and data analytics, institutional economics, water policy, politics, and poverty.
Since 2010 we have been translating novel methodological approaches into full-scale implementation in Africa and Asia in partnership with government, private sector and civil society. The group has won over £3m of international, competitive grants from UK research councils (NERC, ESRC), DFID, UNICEF and the Skoll Foundation
